CLAMP: HellermannTyton has launched the Ratchet-P one-piece adjustable clamp for applications including securing pipes, hoses and cable bundles from 6 to 51 mm wide to rolling stock bogies.
‘Old fashioned P-clamps can be difficult to position, can twist and pinch wires during installation and, put frankly, can make complicated and lengthy work of even the simplest of maintenance tasks’, said John Brodie, Product Manager, Fastenings & Fixings. ‘With the Ratchet-P clamp, the need to replace corroded or worn clamps is eradicated and due to its adjustable nature, engineers no longer have to carry around a large range of sizes and variations.’
