UK: Rail Forum and the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators have agreed a partnership bringing together their respective expertise in industry engagement and professional development to support shared goals around workforce development, innovation and industry growth.
Rail Forum members will gain discounted access to selected CIRO courses, including CIRO Connect and Introduction to Rail. CIRO will participate in key Rail Forum events, including the annual conference and HR Leaders Group, providing members with opportunities to engage directly with training experts.
Both organisations will actively share each other’s news, events and initiatives, while co-hosted events will explore issues in rail operations, training and policy.
‘This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to investing in people and strengthening the capabilities of the rail industry’, emphasised Rail Forum’s Membership & Engagement Director Cat Appleby on May 8. ‘Together, we can amplify our impact and offer even more value to our members.’
CIRO CEO Phil Sherratt added that the partnership ’enables us to extend the reach of CIRO’s membership and learning offer to Rail Forum members, aligning with our mission to lead, inspire and accelerate the growth of rail professionals’.
