UK: London to the Channel Tunnel high speed line concessionaire London St Pancras Highspeed has appointed Mott MacDonald as sole strategic partner under a three-year Sustainable Asset Management Framework.

The newly-launched framework brings together asset management and climate adaptation for the High Speed 1 route in a single integrated approach.

‘This partnership supports our ongoing commitment to delivering a high-performing transport system that’s resilient, sustainable and ready for the challenges ahead’, said Jo Parkes, Head of Asset Management at London St Pancras Highspeed, on October 9. ‘By bringing together asset management and climate adaptation under one framework, we are both future-proofing our infrastructure and setting standards for sustainable rail.’

Mott MacDonald’s strategic advisory lead Andy Moulds said ‘this is a powerful opportunity to combine Mott MacDonald’s strengths in asset management, climate resilience and innovation to help shape a more sustainable and resilient future for high-speed rail, supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient transport network.’
