us-Stadler Signalling Atlanta office

The office is located in Uptown Atlanta.

USA: Stadler Rail has opened an office in Atlanta focused on its signalling and train control activities.

The company said the office launch marked the first major international expansion of the Stadler Signalling Division beyond its home market of Switzerland. A large signalling contract awarded by local metro operator MARTA in November 2024 is one of the reasons why the office was established; it is located in the Uptown Atlanta area, next to Lindbergh Center metro station.

The office includes laboratory space and will serve as a hub for the USA team, with room for further expansion. The company said that the opening is a key part of Stadler Signalling’s strategic growth plans in the USA as well as facilitating close working with MARTA on the Atlanta metro resignalling programme. A local presence will facilitate close operational and technical collaboration with the customer and ensure optimal project management.

‘As one of the driving forces behind Stadler’s growth in North America, our new location represents a significant investment in our future success in the region’, said Lucy Andre, CEO of Stadler Signaling North America. ‘This new signalling office in Atlanta will allow us to further innovate and enhance our cutting-edge signalling technology for our clients right here and in general in the US market.’
