INNOTRANS: Attensys is to show Seat Informer, its next generation of seat occupancy detector which not only knows whether a seat is being used but can also identify objects, liquid spills or vandalism in real time.
This can be used to help passengers to find empty seats through an app, to enable last-minute reservations, and to support fleet and maintenance planning.
Attensys says Seat Informer is fully certified for onboard use, is easy to integrate either wired or wirelessly, and ‘will change the way people will look at the main revenue maker – the seat.’
