GERMANY: Erfurt transport authority EVAG signed a contract with Stadler on October 29 for the supply of 14 trams.

Stadler is to supply a 42 m long metre-gauge version of its Tramlink vehicle, which will have capacity for 248 passengers including 102 seated. The air-conditioned vehicles will have five double and two single doors, and will be equipped with parent-and-child seats and multifunction areas.

Stadler expects to deliver the first tram to Erfurt at the end of 2020.
