Dr Hans-Jörg Grundmann, Rail Systems Chief Executive at Siemens’ Infrastructure & Cities division, is to become Siemens’ Chief Compliance Officer with effect from October 1.
Grundmann’s position at the Rail Systems business unit will be taken by Dr Jochen Eickholt (photo), who previously headed the Rail Automation unit within the Mobility & Logistics division of Siemens Infrastructure & Cities. Grundmann joined Siemens from AEG in 1997 and has led the Rail Systems unit since its creation in October 2011, prior to which he was Chief Executive of Siemens Mobility.
