Renato Mazzoncini has been appointed as CEO of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane. Formerly CEO of FS subsidiary Busitalia, he replaces Michele Mario Elia, who resigned on November 26 along with Chairman Marcello Messori and the entire FS board.
The new board appointed by a shareholders meeting on November 27 is led by Gioia Ghezzi as Chairman, with members Daniela Carosio, Giuliano Frosini, Simonetta Giordani, Federico Lovadina and Wanda Ternau.
