DENMARK: Two new board members will take up their posts at DSB this month as the national passenger operator restructures its management team following the recent financial problems at its DSBFirst joint venture.

DSB announced last month that Christian Roslev (pictured) would be joining the board on August and taking over as Chief Executive with the departure of Klaus Pedersen on August 12. A graduate from Aarhus University, Roslev was previously CEO of North Jutland Trafikselskab. The former CFO of TDC Business Nordic Jacob Kjaer takes over as Chief Financial Officer on August 8.

‘DSB is putting a new team in charge of the country’s largest transport company’, explained Chairman Peter Schütze, adding that further appointments can be expected. ‘Along with the rest of the management and staff, these new directors will create an even stronger DSB.’
