RUSSIA: Alstom and Promelectronica have to agreed to establish a joint venture to distribute their signalling products in the 1520 mm gauge region. The 51:49 joint venture will be formed by the end of the year and based in Moscow.
As well as distributing the two firms' current ranges of onboard and trackside equipment it will facilitate the joint development of new products, which will be manufactured at existing plants.
