The combined saw/drill unit is intended for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It offers a saw blade changeover time of less than 3 min; smooth and accurate cuts; an electronic overload device which also monitors saw performance; a hardened spindle gear ground for minimum backlash; and a damping device to stabilise the blade for accurate cutting.
