UK: Bombardier Transportation and Carillion have formally launched Infrasig as a joint venture offering conventional and ETCS signalling services in the UK market.
The joint venture is one of a number of suppliers awarded framework agreements as part of infrastructure manager Network Rail's ETCS development programme.
Infrasig's work on the development phase of the ETCS roll-out will be based on Bombardier Interflo 450 ETCS Level 2 equipment.
