POLAND: The 160 EC developed by Krakow-based EC Engineering is claimed to be the first Polish pantograph design for 20 years.
Developed for speeds up to 160 km/h and 3 kV DC catenary, the pantograph has been tested for two years on Skoda’s Class 182, on PKP Cargo’s Class ET22 and PKP Intercity’s Class EP09 locomotives.
