Construction of Rotterdam rail freight yard begins

NETHERLANDS: The Port of Rotterdam Authority, railway infrastructure manager ProRail and contractor Swietelsky Rail Benelux have begun construction of a yard to facilitate the growth of container traffic from the Maasvlakte area of the port.
