Japan: Tokyo Metro looks to Europe and Oceania, as it makes progress with CBTC deployment

Having been selected to help operate London’s Elizabeth Line, the part-privatised Tokyo Metro is looking to win more contracts to operate and maintain urban railways, with particular focus on the European and Oceanian markets. Meanwhile, it is working to introduce what it calls GoA2·5 train control on the Marunouchi Line in Tokyo, as Naoshi Sakai explains to Benjámin Zelki.
