MEXICO: Spanish state-owned engineering consultancy Ineco announced on September 12 that it is to undertake the supervision of work to build the 4 km extension of Line 12 of the Mexico City metro, running from Mixcoac to Observatorio with three stations.

Project supervision is to be undertaken by Ineco’s subsidiary Inecomex, in which Spanish railway infrastructure authority ADIF also has a stake. Inecomex will be working with its local partner Cal y Mayor y Asociados, with over 80 staff deployed on the project from the start of works to entry into service.
