Coal contract

CONSTRUCTION of the 46·5 km North Bowen Basin rail link serving the Hail Creek coal mine in Queensland is expected to be completed by October 2003. An A$70m contract for the project was awarded on August 27 to civil engineering company Abigroup in partnership with Queensland Rail.
