Ferrograph has entered into a partnership agreement with Fujitsu Electronics to supply plasma flat screen systems in Britain. The standard 21 inch panel has been joined by a 42 inch screen (right), offering a wider choice of configuration.
Plasma screens last twice as long as cathode ray tube screens, having a service life of 30000h, and needing little maintenance. They are lightweight (35 kg) and only 100mm deep, making them ideal for wall mounting, or suspending without the need to install heavy duty supports.
Brightness is typically twice that of CRTs, and they can be viewed at angles as acute as 10° from the plane of the screen.
