In 1992, AMT awarded a contract to a joint venture known as SLIG, comprising SNC-Lavalin, as majority interest holder, and Gesproex, for the daily management of the suburban operations under AMT’s jurisdiction. SNC-Lavalin Group is a leading engineering and construction firm with operations around the world. Cabinet-conseil Gesproex Inc was founded in 1990 to provide technical and management consulting services to both public and private sector clients. It is entirely owned by its five associates and is based in Montreal.
