A 4 tonne capacity rail lifting grip developed by ABZ is currently being tested in service in Germany, to assess its performance with rough handling and in a dirty working environment. The clamp automatically engages when lowered onto a rail to be lifted onto wagons during track renewal.

Following a five-month trial, New York MTA has bought a Sabre 4000 hand-held explosive trace detection system which will be used by MTA Police for non-intrusive random screening of passengers and their belongings. MTA’s Emergency Services Unit will use a HazMatID portable chemical identified to assess any suspicious substances which are found.
