Real-time train management

Ponta de Madeira. GPS is used to establish train location, with differential ground stations at strategic locations to provide automatic corrections. The computerised control centre uses workstations with touch-screen graphics consoles, whilst ruggedised processors have been supplied for on-train equipment.
