Odesa tram Route 7 launch

On September 13 the city of Odesa launched tram Route 7, its longest running 29 km on existing lines from Kyivskyi to Suvorovskyi districts with 63 stops. Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov said the concept of a north-south through route had been discussed for 30 years, and the required major works to upgrading the tracks began in 2015. The city said the tram fare is half that of a bus, while the level of comfort is higher.

The infill Pubian station on Xiamen metro Line 3 opened on September 5. A further four stations are to follow on the northeastern part of the line.
