
The 4·9 km first section of the Huangpu Tram Line 2 in Guangzhou opened on June 20 with three days of free travel. It links the Xiangxue terminus of metro Line 6 to Kaiyuan Dong Lu, serving six stops. A 9·5 km southern extension to Nangang station on metro Line 13 is under construction.
