VIETNAM: Passenger-carrying tests on Hanoi’s first metro line began on September 20.
The fleet of 13 CRRC trains is running at speeds of up to 65 km/h along the elevated 13·1 km route between Cat Linh and Yen Nghia. The initial frequencies of 10 to 12 min are expected to shorten to 5 min. This phase of test running is expected to take three to six months.
