UK: Passengers using the stanstedexpress.com website to book tickets for travel on Abellio Greater Anglia’s Stansted Express service from London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport can now pay via PayPal and add their tickets to Apple Wallet.
This removes the need for passengers to print out tickets before travelling. The tickets can be kept in the same location as airline boarding passes, with passengers unlocking their mobile device and scanning the screen or showing the barcode at the ticket gates.
The ability to pay via PayPal was launched in in October, and since then around 20% of all transactions on the Stansted Express website have been made via the e-payment platform.
