Cornwall County Council has awarded Wills Bros Civil Engineering a £4∙6m contract to design and build a multi-modal hub at St Erth station. There are two recommendations to Network Rail; one relates to the competence of staff and contractors and access to information needed to manage the potential risk from breaches of water utilities, and the second relates to risk assessments for intrusive investigations and masonry repairs on bridges carrying water services.
