ARMENIA: A refurbished trainset entered passenger service on the Yerevan metro on January 19.
Refurbishment of the two-car Type 81-717 trainset was sponsored by mobile telecoms provider Ucom. The train was presented to the metro operator on December 28, when an agreement with Ucom was signed to provide 4G coverage on the metro network and to sponsor the refurbishment of a further two-car trainset.
