FRANCE: The Portalp Group has formed Portalp Railway as a legal entity bringing together its platform screen door, guided transport systems and rail-sector access control and metalwork activities.
All employees currently working in the Transport division have been transferred to Portalp Railway, which has its headquarters at Saint-Égrève in Grenoble. Production activities will remain under Portalp France.
‘The creation of Portalp Railway marks a strategic milestone for our group’, said Maxime Duponchel, President of the Portalp Group and of Portalp Railway, on September 1. ‘It confirms our intention to structure our organisation while remaining true to our core values: proximity, innovation and long-term commitment to our clients.’
