SAUDI ARABIA: Saudi Railway Co has begun the prequalification process for two major contracts to be awarded for the Riyadh Rail Link project.
RRL is a planned north-south double-track line which would run 35 km across the capital to connect SAR’s existing north-south railway network with the eastern railway from Riyadh to Dammam.
The first contract covers the appointment of a Design Review & Construction Supervision Consultant. The second contract is for the Design & Build Contractor, which would provided full design and construction services in line with international standards.
