INNOTRANS: The Australasian Railway Association is organising a delegation to this year’s InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin, which it says will present a valuable opportunity to showcase Australia’s rail industry on the global stage. The visit will also strengthen international relationships and identify new opportunities for innovation, investment and industry growth, the trade body says.
The ARA programme from September 20 to 25 2026 will include a welcome dinner, pre-InnoTrans Berlin-based site visits and/or European market briefings, plus use of the ARA Australian Rail Pavilion, invitations to networking functions, visits to major exhibitors and an Australian delegation dinner.
More than 160 people from 86 organisations joined the ARA delegation at InnoTrans 2024. ARA said this highlighted strong interest from industry in connecting with international peers and exploring the latest developments which are shaping the future of rail.
