GE TRANSPORTATION: Locomotives, signalling and the RailConnect 360 data platform will at the heart of GE Transportation’s presence at InnoTrans.

There will the opportunity to take a close look at a PowerHaul diesel locomotive on the outdoor tracks, while indoors there will be information on heavy-haul Evolution Series and medium and lightweight PowerHaul and C-Series locomotives, and the chance to find out more about emerging technologies such as NextFuel which uses liquefied natural gas to fuel locomotives.

GE Transportation's signalling business will showcase the Tempo portfolio of modular technologies for mainline and urban rail applications, including ETCS and computer-based interlockings.

Visitors will be able to see how Railconnect 360 can provide data-driven insights into train velocity, fuel consumption, reliability, productivity and dwell times, using GE's Predix analytical software to enable railways to make better decisions.
