Suburban railway planned as alternative to Plovdiv’s congested roads

BULGARIA: Plans for a suburban rail network to relieve road congestion in Plovdiv are to drawn up shortly, Minister of Transport & Communications Nikolay Sabev said during a visit to the city in April.
