Rail industry marks International Women's Day 2017

The rail industry around the world marked International Women's Day on March 8 2017.

British Steel said it was 'proud to have a 50:50 gender split in our Rail Technologies team'.

'We are celebrating this holiday with special warmth' said the President of Kazakhstan's national railway.

TransPennine Express says attracting more women into the rail industry is high on its agenda.
