The latest order announced on March 15 covers 75 m long three-car units. They will have a maximum speed of 160 km/h and be fitted with the supplier’s Trainguard 100/200/300 ETCS equipment.

They will have around 220 seats, with a power outlet for each row, along with two wheelchair spaces and space for up to 24 bicycles. They will have low-floor entrances, and one of the two toilets will be fully accessible and have a baby-changing table.

There will be free wi-fi, and access to ÖBB’s Railnet information and entertainment portal.
