INNOTRANS: Organiser Messe Berlin reports that bookings for the InnoTrans rail industry trade fair have reached an 'all time high' for the 2014 event. More than half of the 200 first-time exhibitors will be from outside Germany.
The previous InnoTrans held in September 2012 featured 2 515 exhibitors from 49 countries, while 126 110 trade visitors attended the vent from 140 countries.
The display area occupied in 2012 has already been fully booked for 2014, and the inclusion of new event venue CityCube Berlin will add an extra 12 000 m2.
The InnoTrans 2014 event will ben organised into five sections, covering Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction.
