
CAREERS: The second Eurailpress Career Boost digital event which is to be held on the InnoTrans Plus online platform on September 17 2025 will offering students, graduates and young professionals from all over the world a chance to present themselves to HR experts from the transport industry via livestreams from their own computers.
Young professionals in operations, track construction, engineering, services, financial control, sales & marketing, project management, IT and PR will have 90 sec to present their strengths and experience to date, or the qualifications they are obtaining. Recruiters will then be able to arrange one-on-one meetings with the participants in separate virtual rooms.
The first digital edition of the Career Boost was held in 2023, when 16 young professionals from seven countries presented themselves to 20 recruiters from companies including ÖBB, Siemens, Spitzke and Wabtec. A total of 50 follow-up meetings were arranged.
‘The railway sector is growing and in need of highly qualified, motivated young professionals’, acccording to Christine Bode from Siemens Mobility. ‘An innovative format such as the digital Eurailpress Career Boost comes at just the right time. Concentrated networking with the option of follow-up meetings represents a welcome alternative to an often endless interview process’.
Jobseekers can apply to participate via the Eurailpress website. The number of young professionals who can take part is limited to 15. Interested HR managers will be able to purchase tickets for the recruiting event at www.innotrans.de/campus from July. For InnoTrans 2026 exhibitors access costs €320, and for non-exhibitors €600.
