VOSSLOH: Locomotives and light rail vehicles based on modular platforms but customised to meet specific customer needs will be displayed at InnoTrans 2014 by companies from the Vossloh group.

On show in Berlin will be a UKLight diesel locomotive developed specifically for the UK market, along with a full-scale mock-up of a Eurodual electro-diesel locomotive. Also on display will be G6, G12 and DE18 centre-cab diesel locomotives. These types are designed for heavy shunting and medium-duty mainline service, and can all be supplied with support packages covering their entire life cycle.

Vossloh will be displaying three light rail vehicles, including a 100% low-floor Tramlink 6N2 tram for the city of Rostock which has roof-mounted supercapacitor energy storage units. There will also be a 70% low-floor Citylink NET 2012 tram-train for Karlsruhe, and a Bonn Type B articulated light rail vehicle which has been modernised by Vossloh Kiepe to lower its energy consumption.
