POLAND: Modertrans Poznań signed a contract with MPK Łódź on January 10 for the supply of 15 Moderus Gamma LF 11 AC trams.
The agreement includes an option for 15 more vehicles, and the terms are valid for 18 months. The fully low-floor, metre gauge unidirectional vehicles are to be 32 m long. They would be equipped with air conditioning, passenger information systems, energy-recuperation and anti-collision systems.
The vehicles will augment the 30 Moderus Gamma LF06AC trams Modertrans has already delivered to Łódź under a November 2019 contract.
