LOROL currently operates TfL's London Overground routes.

UK: Transport for London has selected London Overground Rail Operations Ltd as interim operator of the West Anglia routes in northeast London that are to be transferred to TfL from next year.

LOROL will operate services currently run by Abellio Greater Anglia from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town, Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) and Chingford, as well as the Romford – Upminster route, for 17 months starting on May 31 2015. Tenders will then be called to re-let the entire London Overground concession. TfL says that preliminary work for this has started.

All stations managed by London Overground are to be staffed from start to end of services. New ticket vending machines are to be installed that will accept contactless credit and debit cards.

On April 9 TfL announced that it would be inviting expressions of interest in a contract to supply 39 four-car electric multiple-units, 30 of which will be deployed on the West Anglia routes and one for the Romford – Upminster shuttle. The first of the new trainsets are due to enter service in 2018.
