Los Angeles selects Purple Line extension signalling

USA: Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has awarded Ansaldo STS a $31·5m contract to supply signalling and train control equipment for the first phase of the Purple Line extension. Ansaldo STS is to supply signalling with ATP, ATO and ATS functionalities, as well as train-to-wayside systems.
