ARGENTINA: The first six of 120 Alstom Metropolis cars for Line H of the Buenos Aires metro arrived in the city on August 27. The stainless steel air-conditioned cars are equipped with regenerative braking.

The previous day, test running took place on the first 10 of 105 cars that CRRC is supplying to replace the Fiat/Materfer vehicles in service on Line A. These also have stainless steel bodies and are air-conditioned.

In 2013, 45 cars supplied by CNR Corp entered service on Line A, replacing the original cars dating from the opening of the metro in 1913.
