Indian Railways is to re-call bids for operation of three of the five tourist train services offered to the private sector in May 1995.Sterling Holiday Resorts (India) Ltd hopes to order trains for the Delhi and Bangalore routes, which would be ready by the end of 1999. But S S Patil backed out of the Goa - Mangalore project, and favoured bidder for the Mumbai - Angaurabad circuit EWT&T went into liquidation. IR received no bids for the fifth option.
