Under the terms of the proposed merger of Canadian National and Burlington Northern Santa Fe (p66), BNSF Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Robert D Krebs will become non-executive Chairman of North American Railways and CN, whilst CN President & CEO Paul M Tellier will become President & CEO of both companies. CN’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer E Hunter Harrison will become Chief Operating Officer of NAR as well, whilst BNSF’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer Thomas N Hund will become Chief Financial Officer. BNSF President & Chief Operating Officer Matthew K Rose will become President & CEO of BNSF.
