LAST MONTH Rail Privatisation News, our newsletter about Britain’s privatised rail industry, celebrated its third birthday. The break-up of British Rail into around 100 companies and the subsequent sell-off are history, but interest in the hard commercial information in which RPN specialises is as strong as ever. Feedback from readers suggested that the newsletter had become an established part of the industry, but that the title no longer reflected the content. So we have changed the name to Rail Business Intelligence, which we believe more accurately describes the newsletter’s role.
