ACCESSIBILITY: The International Union of Railways is to hold an online Rail Accessibility Day to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion, highlight the efforts being made to improve accessibility and discuss challenges which the industry faces.

The event on October 5 will include representatives of international organisations, institutions, suppliers and railway companies.

Topics of debate will include the challenges in improving accessibility, international co-operation, sustainability & customer experience, digitalisation and stations.
