
UKRAINE: The city of Kamianske has awarded Tatra-Yug a contract to supply 17 single-section trams to replace its ageing fleet.
The €14·2m order is being financed by the European Investment Bank under the Ukraine Urban Public Transport II framework programme for mid-sized to large municipalities.
Delivery of the first of the 1 524 mm gauge trams is required within 52 weeks of receipt of the advance payment, and the entire order should be completed within 32 months.
The first three trams are expected arrive by the end of this year, with the rest to be delivered in 2026.
