Taipei metro extension breaks ground

TAIWAN: Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the Xinyi Line East extension on November 7.

The 1·4 km eastern extension from Xiangshan is being built by BES Engineering Corp and Daiho Corp and is expected to cost NT$9bn.
